Inspection Services

  • A home inspection is a non-invasive visual inspection of components. During an inspection we don't do anything that may damage the property, operate major valves, or perform operations which require major tool use.
  • Home inspections take 3-6 hours to perform depending on the size, age, & overall condition of the property. Digital reports are compiled & emailed out from the office later the same day, but we have a rough report built by the end of the inspection & go over our findings with the client while still at the property.
  • Clients generally don't attend the entire inspection. We're climbing on the roof, crawling under the house, going back and forth for various tools, & focused on accurate reporting the majority of the time. Clients generally attend the last hour to 45min of the inspection. This gives them a chance to look around the property and ask questions, while giving us a chance to explain any issues we found, & show them in person what will be appearing in the report photos.
  • All home inspectors are forbidden from moving homeowners property, possessions, operating major switches/valves, or unlocking doors. It's important the sellers agent prepare the homeowner for an upcoming inspection, ensuring access to areas such as underneath sinks, in front of service panels, locked crawlspace doors, security systems (Off), & attic hatches. This ensures that we are able to perform a more thorough & accurate inspection.

A home inspectors role is not only to inspect and report, but also to educate. We endeavor to leave clients with a better understanding of the systems that operate in their home, & how to take care of them.

It’s important not to be intimidated by complex or dangerous components of your home, because that leads to neglect, and expense.

We’ll teach you what need to know in order to help prolong the service life of the systems in your home. We’re always there for our clients, even after the report is sent.
